Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully.

By paying the booking fee, you confirm acceptance of the quotation value and the Terms and Conditions outlined below. Any increase or amendment to the order will be subject to these same Terms and Conditions.

Prices provided within any quotation may be adjusted should you wish to alter the design style, floral varieties, quantities, or overall scale of the agreed floral arrangements.

Booking Fee & Payments

A non-refundable booking fee of £250 is required to secure your wedding date and confirm the services to be provided. An invoice for the booking fee will be issued upon acceptance of the quotation and Terms and Conditions. Written confirmation of your booking will be sent once payment has been received.

The outstanding balance is payable one month prior to the wedding date. Payments are accepted via bank transfer or cash only. Failure to pay the final balance by the due date may result in cancellation of services.

Order Amendments

Flowers are pre-ordered approximately one month prior to your wedding date. Any amendments must therefore be confirmed no later than one month before the event. Requests for changes after this time may not be possible and may incur additional charges depending on availability and scale.

Due to advance preparation, administration, and reserved event capacity, the agreed booking value cannot be reduced once the booking fee has been paid. Additional items may be added subject to availability.

Creative Interpretation

All inspiration images, mood boards, and reference photographs are used as guidance only. Floral design is an artistic and seasonal process, and Evelyn Rose Floristry retains full creative discretion in interpreting agreed designs while remaining faithful to the overall aesthetic, colour palette, and style discussed.

Seasonal Availability & Substitutions

Due to the seasonal and living nature of flowers and foliage, specific varieties cannot be guaranteed.

Every effort will be made to source requested flowers; however, Evelyn Rose Floristry reserves the right to substitute blooms with alternatives of similar style, quality, and value where necessary.

All floral materials are subject to quality assessment prior to use.

Client Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the Client to review all quotation details carefully, including:

Event date, Delivery addresses, Timings, Quantities, Installation locations.

Evelyn Rose Floristry will rectify any notified errors promptly but cannot accept responsibility for inaccuracies not communicated prior to the event.

Venue Access & Installation

Where venue decoration or installation is required, the Client is responsible for ensuring access to the venue at an agreed time. Installation timings are based on information supplied by the venue or client. Evelyn Rose Floristry cannot be held responsible for reduced setup time, design alterations, or incomplete installation caused by delayed access, venue restrictions, or third-party supplier interference.

All flowers will be delivered in prime condition, suitably packaged, and at a mutually agreed delivery time.

Care of Flowers Following Delivery

Responsibility for floral items passes to the Client upon delivery or completion of installation.

Evelyn Rose Floristry cannot be held responsible for damage, wilting, or deterioration caused by weather conditions, venue environment, handling by guests or venue staff, or relocation of arrangements after setup.

Installation Adjustments

Evelyn Rose Floristry reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to agreed installations where weather conditions, venue limitations, or safety considerations require alterations.

Buttonholes & Corsages

Pinning of buttonholes and corsages is undertaken at the wearer’s own risk. Evelyn Rose Floristry accepts no responsibility for injury, damage to clothing, staining, snagging, or tearing caused by floral items or pins.

Magnetic corsages must not be worn by individuals with pacemakers or medical implants. Please advise if an alternative fixing is required.

Hire Items & Damage

All items hired or loaned remain the property of Evelyn Rose Floristry. The Client is responsible for ensuring hired items are returned in the same condition as delivered. Damage includes but is not limited to breakages, stains, burns, loss, or theft. Costs for repair or replacement will be charged accordingly.

Real Candles

Where real candles are supplied by the Florist, these are provided for decorative purposes only. The Florist accepts no responsibility for the lighting, supervision, monitoring, or extinguishing of candles once delivered and/or set up. It is the responsibility of the Client and/or Venue to ensure that the use of real candles complies with all venue policies, insurance requirements, and fire safety regulations. Where a venue operates a strict no-flame policy, it is the Client’s responsibility to notify the Florist in advance so LED alternatives can be provided.

All candles must be used with appropriate holders and/or protective vessels. While all candles supplied are dripless, the Florist does not guarantee that wax will not drip or cause damage. The Florist accepts no responsibility for any wax spillage, staining, or damage caused to table linens, tablecloths, furniture, or venue property. The Client and/or Venue are responsible for ensuring candles are positioned safely, away from flammable materials, and are never left unattended.

Cake Flowers

Where fresh flowers are supplied for use on a cake, these will be provided by the florist only. All flowers supplied will be non-toxic; however, they are not prepared for direct food contact. The preparation, handling, and placement of all flowers on the cake must be carried out by the cake maker/baker. Under no circumstances will the florist cut, prepare, insert or position flowers on the cake. Responsibility for ensuring the flowers are food safe and appropriately installed rests solely with the cake maker/baker.

Collection of Venue Flowers

Venue arrangements will not be collected unless previously agreed. Midnight or late-night collections must be arranged in advance and may incur an additional fee. Additional charges may apply if collection distances differ significantly from those originally agreed.

Photography & Marketing

Evelyn Rose Floristry reserves the right to photograph floral work and reproduce images for marketing purposes including website, social media, and printed material. Any images supplied by clients may also be used unless written objection is received beforehand. Photographers will always be credited where known.

Issues on the Day

Evelyn Rose Floristry is committed to ensuring you enjoy your wedding day fully.

Any concerns regarding flowers must be raised on the wedding day wherever possible to allow reasonable opportunity for rectification. Failure to do so will be considered acceptance of the work as delivered.
